Senior Steppers Perform at Music In the Garden

Seabury is excited to welcome the Model City Senior Steppers to Music in the Garden on Saturday, September 9 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.

The Model Cities Senior Steppers are a dance troupe based out of the Model Cities Senior Wellness Center in northeast Washington, DC. They appear annually at each Ms. Senior DC Pageant. They also dance at events at nursing homes, National Night Out in the metropolitan area, the Doo Wop Concert at the Lincoln Theater, Fall Funk Fest at the Show Place Arena, the Mayor’s Annual Christmas Party, DPR Senior Games, DPR Senior Fest, the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo, the Delta Luncheon at the AARP Building, Chi Eta Phi Nursing Luncheon at the Mayflower Hotel, HUD’s 50th Anniversary celebration of the Supportive Housing for the Elderly Program, Mayor’s Symposium, Black Student Fund (VIP Room), and the President’s Council on Fitness & Nutrition (Hubert Humphrey Building). They have also performed at the Cotton Club in New York City, the Superstar Theater at the Resort Hotel in Atlantic City, and the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club.

Seabury is excited to welcome the Model City Senior Steppers to Music in the Garden on Saturday, September 9 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. They will perform at Seabury’s House of Togetherness (1835 Evarts Street Northeast Washington, DC 20018). The evening’s performances will also include SistaDrummers and guitarist David Cole.
